First, Kate's school held an "incredible" (carnival) last week and we took our dear friends Holly and Asha to join in the festivities.

and a cake walk that netted me no cake.
Oh wait. What was Kate's costume, you say? Well, there's a story there that started with an itchy princess dress and ended with her just changing into extra clothes that we keep in the car... and apparently they don't fit anymore, so... let's just call her...
