What We've Been Up To - In Lists

Here's a recap:
1. Kate and her gymnastics friends won a cupcake party during practice this week. Guess who's child was the one with chocolate icing on her inner thigh...

This is Miles trying to steal one lousy sprinkle. Poor child.

2. My dad came home from his summer gold prospecting field trip and the first job my mom gave him was fixing the garage shelves - since they fell down on top of my mom's car in June.
Anyway, upon inspecting the shelves, I realized once again that I am a lot like my dad in some ways...

Please note the red, green, red pattern and the careful labeling. I may have typed the labels - if it were my project, but alas, there is a generation gap here.

3. Since Miles' diet has consisted mainly of sprinkles, I treated him to lunch:

4. A jeans dilemma. I can now never go shopping unsupervised. The story is just too stupid to retell.

5. Political instruction is now in full swing:

6. The kids went to Free Preschool (aka Basha's Cub House) and made:

7. The following conversation happened:

* I was eating dessert. Kate had already had dessert. Hence...

Kate: Can I have some dessert?

Me: No, you just had dessert.

Kate: I didn't have ice cream.

Me: Well, you're completely sugared out.

Kate: Can I please have some ice cream?

Me: I'm finished with this conversation.

Kate: Can I watch you eat?

Now that you're all caught up, I'll tell you who was in the 8th grade picture. My cousin, Tina, was in blue. She's the one who thought up having triplets and then having another before the first three turned two. Jeri is in white. Haven't seen her since. I'm obviously in red. Not sure why. Leah is the one in black. She once told me that she hair sprayed her hair against a wall, waited for it to dry and then peeled it off. Krista is in polka dots. I got lice from the birds in her house, but that's like, a whole different story.

Love, Mikele
