There Ain't No Party Like A Six Year Old's Party...

I've got some catch up to do... we're now a two camera household, and Josh is in charge of the nicer one, so I have to wait until he downloads his pictures before I can blog.
I bring you... Kate's birthday party. It was her first all-girl, drop off party and my mom and Heather came to chaparone. That being said, we all three were kept busy running games for 10 girls and not only did I forget to take pictures, but I forgot to put candles in the cake and sing for her. Ah, well.

I laid out all of the yummy treats and told the girls that they could eat whatever they wanted. Seriously, one little lady took an entire plate of chocolate dipped apples. There were, like, fourteen of them.

We made sand art necklaces.

Heather tatooed them (Jen, thank you). We played lots of games, then filled up our plates and let Kate rip into her gifts. It was as perfect as perfect can be without some of our dear friends who were greatly missed. I am really excited that Katie and the kiddos will be here on Tuesday!!!!! Hooray!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, Kate!

And yeah for the IL crew coming into town ... kidnap them and make them stay FOREVER!!!

It's better that we live in another state cause then I didn't have to explain to the boys why they were the only ones at an all girl drop off party. Is that a stretch? Feels like a stretch. Shoot. Miss you and wish I was there chaperoning too.

Grace had the best time! Thanks for including her. I'm glad nobody else ended up at Good Night Peds that night. ;)

P.S. Grace loved Kate's party WAY MORE than the ZooLights party...SERIOUSLY!! I might be "borrowing" some of your ideas.

Asha had the best time. Since she has been raising herself this past year...I was afraid she might be to crazy for you all....but as long as nothing was broken and you are still sane...

Kate is a gorgeous, lovely six year old. I love having conversations with her. She is such a sweet young girl!
