I Panicked...I Admit It...

Kate: Mom, why does Miles' butt look funny? (yes, we call it a "butt" - sorry.)

Me: What? His butt doesn't look funny...

(*stop. wait. she called his unit a "butt" in the bathtub the other day. oh...)

Kate: Then what's that hangie thing?

Me: That's not his bottom, Kate, we sit on our bottoms.

Kate: Well, what is it?

Me: That's the front part.

Kate: The front part?

Me: Yes.

Kate: I really want to watch that "Cars" movie again.

I met this very strange lady in Colorado who insisted on telling me about her son's anatomy ... (long story) and she said asking questions like "Oh really?" are a great way to divert "those kind of questions" until Dad gets home to answer them! GOOD LUCK! The hangle thing? LOVE IT!

Aren't you glad they're so easliy distracted? At least it gives you time to plan out what you're gonna say the next time it gets brought up.

I told Grace that Tre's "front BOTTOM" was his "privates". I don't know if I did much better! Do we really need our daughters knowing the word 'p___s'?!?
