Since she isn't four yet, the class she should be in is the one she took in the spring. So, I did what, as a former teacher, I swore I would never do.
I asked if she could test into the Mini-Flips - aka - the GIFTED CLASS. I'm embarrassed for myself, really. However, Miss Lisa was utterly appalled at the idea of my Future Olympian being in that remedial class and promptly signed us up for Monday afternoons. She also said something about her being jealous of Kate's calves.
Her new teacher is Miss Kirsten. When I asked Kate if she remembered her new teacher's name, she thought for a minute. "Miss Karoline?"
Josh DVR'd competitive gymnastics for her and she has FALLEN MADLY IN LOVE. We have seen "floor routines" aplenty, let me tell you.
Don't worry, we're not joining any private gym or postponing adolescence...yet.

You are so funny. I love her teacher Karoline. HAHAHHAHA
What a blessing to have such a "gifted" child :) Olympics 2020 here she comes!
Didn't we use to talk about parents like you at lunch?
I am glad she thought her teacher's name was Karoline spelled the "right" way...
For the record...I am also jealous of Kate's calves...
Oh, and Baby Spice is starting High School next week....so we'll be pretty busy....yeah, she tested right into 12th grade....it's amazing....I guess high school seniors in AZ only have to know about playdough and coloring....who knew?
