Another year has begun. Kate is now being planted in the Seed on Tuesdays and Thursdays, but as a change from last year, she stays until 3:00. According to her, a great injustice has finally been made right.
The night before, we did a thorough dress-rehearsal.
Eager smile - check.
Pink backback - check. Identification - check. Personalized pillow - check. Blanket that Grandma Cheryl made - check. Lovey named Violet that Aunt Cara made - check. The big day came yesterday, and Kate could not have been more excited. She kept checking with me to make sure I wasn't picking her up after lunch. Gasp!
So very sweet, this girl.
Kate and Ms. Deb.
She and Grace are back in her class again this year. Apparently, a big production was made out of nap time, but no sleep was actually had. I'm just glad she didn't take the opportunity to poke her neighbor... "psssst! Are you asleep?"
She declared it the Best Day Ever.
ps - FYI - She is now making all decisions using the "Eni Meni Miney Moe" method. Be cautious in asking her to choose anything.

Very hip shoes, Kate! Good thing your mom is on top of all the new fashion trends! We'll see you in the 'hood next year. I'll pick you up after lunch so your mom can go shopping!!
I'm sad thinking about next year...
I can't believe it's her last year of preschool. She looks great. Did you i.d. her underwear too?
So fun, so sweet, so sad, so happy!
Love all things pink and of course the pig tails. She looks like she loves school and her teacher. What a blessing!
Very cute. I wish my kids where THAT excited about school. I hope it stays that way. :)
I didn't even know how to spell "Eni Meni Miney Moe." I think I'll start going to The Seed!
I love all of it! I'm late checking your blog. The personalized pillow, backpack, coordinating everything, her excitement to stay all day...I sort of want to go to the Seed too.
