Austin Jumping

While we were having the time of our lives in San Antonio, I insisted on a jump picture. At first, I was met with some opposition, some citing the big lunch we had eaten, and others the fact that we has been walking for hours. In the end, I won and the results were hilarious...

First, I figured that I would just take the picture. Timing is crucial and I felt that I had some experience. Robyn's airtime is impressive, but Heather apparently thought we were there just to tell jokes.

Ah, Heather brings back her cheerleader roots, while you'll notice that Katie's necklace hits her in the face in almost every picture. Jen seems to be one legged.

Run! Robyn, Run! Herkie! Heather, Herkie!
Katie gave it a try. Heather got the hand and Jen lost both leggers this time. I'm channeling my inner Thriller.
The girls wanted one of all of us, so we asked some Swedish guys (really) to take the picture, but as I mentioned before.... timing.... It was run on one, two and jump on three. duh. "Did you get it that time?" "Uh, no." Nice guys, though. Next, we tried jumping off the wall... ... holding hands. We set up the camera on the timer and set it on the car hood. Didn't work and Katie's hair is not set up for this kind of thing. "Girls, I love you and Kel, you especially are awesome, but I need a break." Finally, we had a couple of nice girls on a road trip across the country (I know!) ask if they could help. Why, yes! You can! This is my favorite of Jen. She took this one with her camera!!!!!!! Hooray! Since they were on a road trip (!) it took a few weeks to get somewhere to upload the picture off her camera and email it to Heather, but it was worth the wait. I really think that I'm going to tag everyone reading this. Get some people together, make them jump and post it. Then comment with your blog address so we can all laugh at you. Please!!! The End.

Jen has the legs of a gazelle. Amazing. Robyn...that is some serious NBA air you get there. Katie...I can almost hear you laughing after each picture! Love you! Heather...love your inner cheerleader! Kel...you have the best timing for jump pictures!

I still have two black eyes from taking jump pictures years ago at the Womans retreat. My boobs just aren't meant to challenge gravity...

So fun! I admit, I was VERY resistant to jump, but loved every second of it. Thanks for being persistent.

I may need dentures after all teeth clenching....

Oh my gosh, funniest post ever! I love the one where Jen lost her legs. It really looks like she's floating!

If I start a co-ed basketball team, I'll be contacting Robyn. She got hops for a white girl.
