One year ago (Saturday - I'm late posting...) I was 10 days past my due date and there were no beds available at the hospital, so I was in the process of waiting it out ever so (not) gracefully. Finally, at an ultrasound, they discovered that Miles was in the ten pound range and decided that, yes, they would attempt to remove him. However, thinking he was at least 10.5 and maybe 11 lbs, a c-section was scheduled.
At 5:03 pm on February 24th, Miles Daniel was born weighing a slight 9lbs 10 oz. I knew him from the moment I saw him and fell completely in love.
